ladies 18 and up, please... mature questions?
if you know "guys are ALL the same"... then why dont you just go with it? Is it really that unpleasant for you? Is it such a burden and a chore?
what makes YOUR view of sexuality automatically right, and ours wrong?
we are both wired the way we are by nature. therefore, if you want to have a successful relationship... why should it have to be YOUR way all the time?
why do you make us feel guilty, ashamed, or dirty... just for being the way we were created?
has it occurred to you that if you were more willing to meet our needs, we would try harder to meet yours, sexually and otherwise?
don't you know that sex and emotion go hand-in-hand for guys too? no one likes to be continually rejected. in our hearts and minds, it emasculates us and makes us feel unworthy and undesirable to our mates. we get lonely. we have feelings too. why are YOURS so much more important? is it a wonder why we might cheat? its not always just about sex.
please dont flame me, i just REALLY wanna know...
ps. to the married women 35 and up... YOU may want to sit in the rocker and knit, watch tv, talk on the phone, or be on facebook all evening.... WE DONT! we want to be young and do youthful things; adventure, fun, romance... and yes... SEX. And you wonder why we are out cruising around in red sports cars with girls half our age...
i'm 51 yo and married for going on 29 years. we have two grown productive adult children. we had,, and have, a happy home and family. i know what it takes to make a relationship work, otherwise, this wouldnt be the case. so before you get all bitchie and say im all wrong, look at the relationships YOU have had.
i understand menopause and "empty-nest" syndrome... and have been sensitive to her needs and have had open communication. but sex once a month (if im lucky) just isnt fair! and then... i can obviously tell she is just going through the motions.she LOVED it 15 - 20 - 25 years ago, couldnt get enough. im still fit and healthy. why should i be unfulfilled just because SHE feels old and ugly? I continually assure her she is beautiful and i desire her.... wtf?
what is it in the female brain that makes her think HER needs are SO much more important/valid, and giving us sex is like giving a biscuit to the family dog?
yes... im bitter.
and i feel like cheating....

How can I help my unhappy mother get over her past?
My mother is a woman in her mid-40's who had an arranged marriage to my dad. We have a great home and family, and she can pretty much get what she wants. In the past however, she was tortured while living with my dad's in-laws as he finished his medical residency. I feel like she hasn't forgiven him for the things that his family did to her. They pretty much treated her like a doormat and didn't let her go out or wear makeup, etc. But now that's all over and she can't seem to get over it and move on. She is still unhappy, especially after finding Facebook and getting in touch with some of her old friends. She feels as if she is stupid and not pretty enough, even though she has a better life than more than half her former classmates. She also feels like she is competing with them; she must have more likes on her comments, she must go to more parties, she must have the best daughter and the best clothes. It's a bit overwhelming for me to have to listen to her while the same thing is going on in my high school. I am seriously thinking of getting some sort of professional help to get her past her demons, but she would never go for it. If I ever try to talk to her, she gets angry and starts perusing through things that were wrong in the past. What should I do? It makes me hurt seeing her be so unhappy about everything. Thanks for all the help guys!
